FRUITS !

Do you like fruits? Everyone needs fruits to be healthy ! Don't know how much fruit to eat a day to keep yourself healthy? Here are some information on how much fruits to eat a day depending on how much you exercise !

For people who exercise an average of less than 60 minutes a day -  2 cups a day !
For people who exercise an average of more than 60 minutes a day - 3 cups a day !
How big is a cup? A cup should be as much as a large piece of fruit ( banana, grapefruit or apple).

Don't like fruits? Fret not ! Here is an recipe that will help you to like fruits ! This recipe is named
Watermelon Whole Fruit Popsicles 


Ingredients needed :
3 cups watermelon puree (about 1/4 to 1/2 a watermelon)
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
1 peach, diced small
handful fresh cherries, pited and chopped

Method :
  1. Cut the watermelon into chunks and then puree it in a blender until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Set out about a dozen popsicle molds (amount needed depends on size of mold.)
  3. Fill each mold the chopped fresh fruits
  4. Pour the watermelon puree until each mold is full to the top.
  5. Place a popsicle stick into each one
  6. Freeze it in the freezer for about 6 to 8 hours.
  7. When ready to serve, run the popsicle mold under warm water for a few seconds then pull out.
